Antonio Brown Seemingly Asked For His Job Back With Patriots: Tell Them To Call Me [VIDEO] 

Former NFL wide receiver, Antonio Brown took to Instagram on Wednesday (Oct. 9th) asking for his former employer, the New England Patriots, to give him a call to discuss returning to the field. The troubled NFL star was cut from the Patriots just less than two weeks after signing AB in the wake of alleged reports of several accusations of sexual harassment. In his video, AB tells his viewers,

“The best receiver right now is at home in Miami. If you guys follow the Patriots, tell them to call me. They still gotta pay me, so might as well let me earn it.”

During this Instagram Live, Antonio Brown offers to return to Patriots. Also says bunch of other stuff, obviously.

The video comes just after AB announced that he will never play for a NFL team again in a tweet. He wrote:

“Will not be playing in the NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals, do whatever they want at anytime.”

He continues,

“We will see if the NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up.”

The decorated receiver was first accused on Sept. 10 of raping his former trainer Britney Taylor in May 2018. Taylor, Brown’s former trainer, alleges the wide receiver sexually harassed her on three occasioned, including the alleged rape last year.

Days later, another allege victim came forward accusing AB of sexual harassment while she was hired by the receiver to paint a mural on a wall of his Pittsburgh-area home in 2017.

AB has faced an onslaught of backlash following the accusations including being released from his deal with Nike. According to reports, a spokesperson for Nike says,

“Antonio Brown is not a Nike athlete.”

AB later revealed he reenrolled for classes at at Central Michigan University where he first met his accuser, Taylor before being drafted in 2010.

The post shows a list of four classes that are offered online, including: Introduction to Management, Technical Writing, Death and Dying (a religion course) and Racism and Equality (a sociology course).

In addition, the 7-time NFL Pro-Bowler has reported filed a $40 million grievance case which includes his guarantee salary from his former teams.

According to reports, AB seeks $30 million from the Raiders, including guarantees from 2019 and 2020 totaling $29 million, along with a $1 million signing bonus, $860,294 for a week of salary and $215,000 in fines.

As far as New England, AB seems his $9 million signing bonus from the Patriots, along with $1 million in base salary and $64,062 for a Week 1 check.
