Crew members Stockton Rush — the CEO of the company responsible for the voyage — and French pilot Paul-Henri Nargeolet are also on the lost sub.

According to reports, the watercraft went missing somewhere off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts on June 18. The purpose of the expedition was for the tourists to see the sunken Titanic ship. However, things clearly took a left turn and the individuals on board have yet to be found. Recent reports suspect that they have roughly a day of oxygen supply left.

Despite this being a serious and scary situation, Hamish Harding’s stepson Brian Szasz appears to still be living his best life. Today (Jun. 21) Brian publicly showed his interest in an Onlyfans model named Brea. After the adult content creator posted a steamy picture with the caption, “can i sit on u,” Brian retweeted the image and said,

“Yes please!”

Brian’s questionable online activities don’t end there. He also slammed rapper Cardi B for sharing her opinion on the missing Titanic submarine. It’s important to note that the “Money” rhymer isn’t the only celeb who has spoken on the ordeal. However, Brian blasted Cardi B for her recent comments and tweeted,

TikTok star Britney Joy, 35, and her mother Sherie Smith, 60, died in a car crash while on their way to a Juneteenth celebration in Texas.

According to reports, Britney Joy had just left her sister Tiffany Smith Cofield’s home with their mother moments before the horrific crash occurred.

Cofield told reporters,

“It looked like her car and everybody, when I was walking up, said a mom and daughter died and I knew they had left and knew the only mom and daughter would be my mom and sister.”

“There will never be a time when I won’t miss my mother and my sister. They were my best friends. They were everything.”

According to Houston Police, the social media personality was behind the wheel when a truck hit her vehicle. An investigation is still ongoing.

Britney Joy, also known as Britney Murphy, was known for posting comedy skits and vlogs on TikTok. The morning of her death, Britney shared a video with her 400K TikTok followers about the Juneteenth holiday.

The race is on to find a missing submarine.

According to reports, a deep sea vessel holding three tourists and two crew members went missing somewhere off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts this past Sunday (Jun. 18). At the time of this report, it’s highly speculated that there’s roughly a day’s supply of oxygen left on board.

Reportedly, the experimental submersible is owned by OceanGate Expeditions and was attempting to visit the Titanic wreckage located at the bottom of the Atlantic. As seen in the classic 1997 film “Titanic” – inspired by the true story of the ship – more than 1,500 lives were lost when the boat sank after hitting an iceberg on its way from England to New York in 1912. It’s noted in one report that OceanGate advertises trips to see the wreckage on its website, claiming to offer an  “extraordinary”  experience, where guests pay $250,000 per person for the expedition.

Coast Guard Capt. Jamie Frederick gave an update on the search yesterday (Jun. 20), explaining the difficulty of the situation. According to Frederick, search and rescue teams have already been over 7,600 square miles of the ocean, and are covering an area “larger than the state of Connecticut.” He reportedly stated during a press conference:

“Search and rescue crews are working around the clock to find the submersible and crew”

Frederick added that more crew and aid from the Pentagon were being deployed to help locate the watercraft.

Today (Jun. 21) a Canadian Coast Guard official revealed to CNN that one of its ships with “advanced deep sonar” has joined the search for the missing Titanic submersible and said:

“We have to keep working until we find the submersible,”

They added:

“There have been sounds that have been picked up, and that just means that we will continue to double down and to figure out where the submersible is and how it can be brought to the surface.”

Onboard the vessel is reportedly OceanGate’s CEO Stockton Rush, a billionaire named Hamish Harding, a Pakistani businessman named Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman, as well as an unnamed fifth person who is a crew member.

As news of the alarming incident spread, more details involving OceanGate’s problematic decision to sail the submersible has come to light. Reportedly, the company was engaged in a legal battle with its former director of marine operations David Lochridge back in 2018. Lochridge reportedly expressed concerns over allowing passengers on board before it was properly tested to ensure it could withstand extremely dangerous situations. Additionally, the former OceanGate employee found an issue with the viewing platform where guests would be able to look out clearly into the ocean. The surfaced court filing reportedly read:

“Lochridge learned that the viewport manufacturer would only certify to a depth of 1,300 meters due to the experimental design of the viewport supplied by OceanGate, which was out of the Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy (‘PVHO’) standards,”

Adding:

“OceanGate refused to pay for the manufacturer to build a viewport that would meet the required depth of 4,000 meters,” the filing said. “The paying passengers would not be aware, and would not be informed, of this experimental design, the lack of non-destructive testing of the hull, or that hazardous flammable materials were being used within the submersible.”

OceanGate reportedly sued Lochridge for breach of contract and disclosing private company information, but they ultimately parted ways and settled the dispute. We will continue to update as more information comes along.

Influencer Andrew Tate Charged w/ Rape & Human Trafficking In Romania

Controversial influencer/former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate has been charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming a criminal group to sexually exploit women in Romania.

Tate, who was arrested by Romanian anti-terrorism authorities last December, allegedly also engaged in human trafficking in the U.S. and the U.K.

Tate’s brother, Tristan Tate, was also reportedly charged alongside two other suspects. The brothers have been under house arrest since March.

On Tuesday (June 20), Romania’s anti-terrorism organization, the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT), alleged that Andrew Tate and his co-defendants created a criminal group in 2021,

“in order to commit the crime of human trafficking on the territory of Romania, but also in other countries, such as the United States of America and Great Britain.”

According to reports, the crime group misled seven victims with,

“the intention to establish a marriage/cohabitation relationship and the existence of real feelings of love.” 

Instead, the victims were forced to perform pornographic acts, which were later shared through social media sites such as OnlyFans.

Andrew and his brother have denied all allegations.

Tate’s legal team said in a statement:

“While this news is undoubtedly predictable, we embrace the opportunity it presents to demonstrate their innocence and vindicate their reputation. Our primary focus will be to establish the truth and ensure a fair and impartial examination of the evidence the legal team will submit.” 

The statement continued,

“The indictment now allows us to present a comprehensive body of evidence, diligently collected and prepared over time, which will undoubtedly substantiate the brothers’ claims of innocence.”

While the social media personality is screaming that he had no part in such immoral acts, an additional duo of women have since resurfaced and added that Tate (allegedly) physically and sexually abused them (too) in the United Kingdom, which is said to have taken place in 2015.

One of the young ladies recalled Tate becoming extremely aggressive with her and another female present at the time.

“[He said], ‘Which one of you hoes am I going to strangle today?’ I couldn’t believe that that was our life, you know? But it just seemed really, really normal for us, even though it wasn’t.”

She continued by stating that Tate often kept the girls “in line” by laying hands on them, and he’d threatened her when she confronted him about the harm she’d seen him inflict on someone else.

“I just wanted to get out of that situation. He said, ‘Oh, I don’t give a f*ck if you call the police, I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you.’”

Andrew Tate rose to fame as a contestant in the reality TV show Big Brother UK in 2016. He has eventually kicked off the show after a video surfaced in which he appeared to be hitting a woman with a belt. He is known for spewing misogynistic views on social media, which have gotten him removed from many social platforms.

Inmates Receive Associate’s Degrees Under Yale-University of New Haven Partnership

There are some new graduates in town!

Marcus Harvin is one of seven graduates who went back to the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Connecticut on Friday to get his associate degree in general studies from the University of New Haven.

The men make up the first cohorts of graduates from a collaboration between UNH’s Prison Education Program and the Yale Prison Education Initiative.

In 2021, Yale and UNH formed a partnership to offer the student-inmates a path to two- and four-year degrees. The program, which provides classes at McDougall-Walker and the federal women’s jail in Danbury, is now a part of a consortium that encompasses 15 colleges and prison systems around the United States.

Zelda Roland, a Yale alumna, established the program in 2016. It was modeled on a similar program she participated in when employed by Wesleyan University.

Roland, who serves as the director of the partnership, said,

“We believe that this is a transformative program, that it has the potential to make a generational impact. We believe that we’re transforming not just individual student’s lives, but also the institutions that we work in, both the universities and correctional system.”

Approximately 20% of prisoners acquire some kind of higher education while they are incarcerated, according to UNH officials. And research has shown that individuals who do are less likely to exhibit negative conduct while incarcerated and or commit crimes after being let out.

Harvin servd six years in prison for a drunken driving accident that injured his two young children and received widespread media attention. Given the rarity of studying in prison, he said attending Yale means a great deal.

Harvin shared,

“People even think I’m lying sometimes, so I’ll show them my jail I.D. and my Yale I.D.”

He added,

“We define our own futures and today is the start of that. You learn from the past, but you define your own future. And what happens in your future is going to be your legacy. And I want you to have a really important story to tell.”

Starbucks Ordered To Pay $25M To Former Manager Who Was Fired Following 2018 Arrests Of Two Black Men Accused Of ‘Trespassing’

An ex-employee of the coffeehouse franchise Starbucks has won over $25 million after accusing the company of racial discrimination in 2019.

The woman, named Shannon Phillips, alleged that she and fellow white workers were wrongfully penalized after the controversial 2018 arrests of two Black men at a Starbucks location in Philadelphia.

Reportedly, the supervisor of the Pennsylvania store called the police on Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson for sitting in the establishment without ordering anything. During the 911 call, the supervisor claimed the men were trespassing seemingly because they didn’t make a purchase while waiting on their business meeting to start.

Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson were later released without charges, and they have since reached an undisclosed settlement with the brand (+ influenced policy changes). However, following the circulation of a video from the incident, a national outcry ensued.

At the time, Shannon Phillips served as a regional manager of operations in Philadelphia and New Jersey, among others, but she stands firm in the fact that she was not involved with the legal actions taken against Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson.

Amid the chaos that trailed Nelson and Robinson’s detainment, Starbucks demanded Shannon Phillips put another white manager (said to have no connection to Nelson and Robinson’s situation) on administrative leave, but she refused. Not too long after, Phillips was fired.

Starbucks noted that the request was due to a report of Black overseers getting paid less than white store runners, but Phillips combated with the argument that district managers had no say in salaries. In her lawsuit, she blamed the enterprise for “punishing white employees in an effort to convince the community that it had properly responded to [Nelson and Robinson’s] incident.”

Eventually, Starbucks responded by stating that Phillip’s let-go was a result of the need for someone more experienced with “leading” during a business crisis.

Four years after the occurrence, this week, a New Jersey jury unanimously ruled in Phillips’ favor, co-signing her complaint that Starbucks displayed racial injustice and violation of federal/state anti-discrimination laws.

She was granted $600,000 in compensatory damages and $25 million in punitive damages. She may also be getting an additional $3 million for lawyer fees and lost revenue.

Country Singer Jimmie Allen Dropped By Record Label After Second Woman Comes Forward w/ Sexual Assault Allegations

Jimmie Allen is facing some serious legal woes.

The country music star has been dropped by his record label after a second woman came forward with sexual assault allegations against him.

The label said in a statement,

“BBR Music Group has dissolved its relationship with Jimmie Allen. He is no longer an active artist on its roster.”

Jimmie Allen, 37, was first suspended by BBR in May when his former manager sued him for assault and sexual abuse, which he has denied. According to Allen, he and his ex-manager were involved in a consensual relationship.

He said in a statement,

“It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever.”

He continued,

“I acknowledge that we had a sexual relationship — one that lasted for nearly two years. During that time she never once accused me of any wrongdoing, and she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely.” 

Allen went on to question his former manager’s motives.

“Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives. The simple fact is, her accusations are not only false, but also extremely damaging. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my career, and I intend to mount a vigorous defense to her claims and take all other legal action necessary to protect my reputation.”

As for the second lawsuit against him, an anonymous woman filed a lawsuit earlier this month claiming that Allen violated her privacy by secretly filming her, and continued to engage in sexual contact with her even after she’d revoked her previously given consent.

Allen has yet to release a statement regarding the second lawsuit.

Jimmie Allen previously took to social media to issue an apology to his estranged wife Alexis, with whom he shares daughters Naomi, 3, and Zara, 20 months. The pair are expecting their third child together despite their separation.

Allen wrote,

“I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair. I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all.” 

Allen added,

“The business takes so much from you. It’s full of temptations that can cripple you and ruin everything you’ve built. I’m ashamed that I wasn’t strong enough to withstand them. I will no longer be a victim of my weaknesses.”

Update: White Woman Arrested In Florida For Fatal Shooting Of Mother-Of-Four, Ajike ‘AJ’ Owens

Update: (Jun. 7, 2023): An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of Ajike “AJ” Owens.

Tuesday night (Jun. 6) A 58-year-old white woman named Susan Louise Lorincz was arrested in Marion County, Fla. for allegedly fatally shooting her neighbor, Ajike Owens, through her front door on Friday night (Jun. 2).

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Lorincz was charged with manslaughter with a firearm, culpable negligence, battery and two counts of assault.

Initially following Owens’ death, her family and community called for the arrest of Lorincz. However, Sheriff Billy Woods said that prior to an arrest being made, an investigation would have to take place to determine if Lorincz’s actions were justified under Florida’s “stand-your-ground law.”

After looking further into the situation, “detectives were able to establish that Lorincz’s actions were not justifiable under Florida law,” the sheriff’s office said.

Sheriff Woods released a statement on the matter and said,

“I want to thank all of you who have sent me messages … encouraging the arrest, because it shows that you care about a fellow human being,”

Woods continued,

 “Rushing in to make an arrest is not the right thing to do sometimes … because we want to ensure that what we present, that justice is served all the way through the courts, and that the individual gets what they deserve.”

Civil rights attorney Ben Crump is now representing Owens’ family. He addressed the delay in Lorincz’s arrest and said,

“While we are relieved that the woman apparently responsible for the tragic killing of Ajike ‘AJ’ Owens has been arrested, we are no less concerned that accountability has taken this long because archaic laws like Stand Your Ground exist.”

A Black mother was fatally shot after approaching a neighbor’s front door over the weekend.

According to reports, on Friday night (June 2), a woman named Ajike Shantrell Owens, also known as “AJ,” was fatally shot by a neighbor at a Florida duplex.

Neighbors at the scene said multiple children were outside playing near one of the buildings prior to the tragic incident. Reportedly, a woman living in one of the homes came outside and took a tablet belonging to one of Ajike Owens’ children. Neighbors also said that the woman threw an object at one of the children.

Following the incident, residents said Ajike Owens’ son told the woman he was going to tell his mother. After being informed of what happened, the mother-of-four — who lived across the street — went to the woman’s home in an attempt to resolve the conflict. Unfortunately, that’s when things turned deadly and Owens was then shot by the woman.

According to neighbors, the shooter never opened her door and fired the fatal shot from inside her residence.

Lauren Smith — one of the neighbors who rushed to Owens’ aid — said she was sitting outside when she saw one of the 35-year-old’s sons pacing back and forth. She said he repeatedly yelled that his mother had been shot and was lying in the grass near a large tree, according to reports.

Recent reports state that there was an ongoing “neighborhood feud” between the shooter and Owens over Owens’ children. Authorities said law enforcement officers had been called out to the area six to eight times.

According to witnesses, Owens was shot once, in the upper body, close to her right shoulder. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time. Residents in the area also said the woman left not long after firing the fatal shot at Owens.

Another one bites the dust!

According to reports, R&B singer Trey Songz is facing yet another sexual assault lawsuit after forcing a woman’s breast bikini top down and exposing her breast.

Reportedly the woman, who’s identifying as Jane Doe, filed the suit this past Thursday (June 1st). Jane Doe claims she attended an event at the Foxwoods’ Resort Casino on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation reservation in Connecticut back in 2013 when the incident took place. According to her, she was with friends and coworkers and went to Songz’ tent for a photo-op. Instead, she reportedly got nothing but embarrassment as the singer pulled down her top, exposing her bare breast. At the time, Jane Doe reportedly worked as a business analyst for a local liquor distributor but quit after the incident took place.

The suit reportedly added:

“In what appeared to be an attempt to further terrify and humiliate [the woman], followed the assault with a degrading chant, ‘Titty in The Open … Titty in The Open,”

Allegedly, the woman says she thought it’d be cool to take a picture, which resulted in a nearby friend capturing the moment on camera. She reportedly added in the suit that she left her job after feeling “ashamed, embarrassed and anxious”. Jane Does is reportedly seeking $10 million in damages – up from the original $5 million she reportedly demanded not to take the case to court.

Also named as defendants are Songz‘ manager Kevin Liles and Atlantic Records. The suit reportedly argues they were negligent supervising the singer, and are “responsible in some manner” for his actions. The latest court case certainly aligns with other tales about the entertainers behavior as of late. In the past few years several women have come come forward claiming to have been victimized by the musician. Just this past February Songz, Liles, and Atlantic were hit with another suit, with another Jane Doe claiming she was physically raped by the entertainer.

Despite, Songz has continuously failed to be convicted of nearly any wrongdoing. He’s either had these cases dismissed, or has been able to settle the matters before they’ve gone criminal. It does not seem that Trey nor the other defendants have spoken publicly about the suit at this time.

Singer DaniLeigh Released On $9,500 Bond After Being Arrested For DUI Hit & Run, Alleged Victim Suffers Fractured Spine

It looks like DaniLeigh has found herself in a bit of legal trouble.

The 28-year-old singer/choreographer was arrested Tuesday (May 30) morning in Miami for a DUI hit & run that left one person seriously injured.

According to the police report, witnesses say they saw DaniLeigh swerving lanes at high speed. She then struck someone who was riding a motor scooter and dragged the moped for about a block. A bystander flagged down a nearby officer who then initiated a stop.

During the stop, the officer claims DaniLeigh reeked of alcohol. She eventually failed field sobriety tests and was ordered to take a breathalyzer test. According to the officer, she blew 0.145 and 0.148 on the test, which is nearly twice the legal limit.

DaniLeigh was then arrested and taken into custody around 8:15 am Tuesday at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. She was booked on three felony charges including, driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and damage to property.

The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center in Miami where he was treated for a kidney laceration and a spinal fracture.

The “Easy” singer was later released on a $9,500 bond.

DaniLeigh has yet to comment on the incident.
